A male driver from Lake Charles was given a citation after crashing his car into a local restaurant.
According to Lake Charles Police, 19-year-old Tyren Williams caused an accident at the intersection of Legion Street and La. 14, damaging local restaurant, Leonard’s Food Quarters. Though Williams stated to authorities that the traffic light was green and that his brakes allegedly failed to work, footage from a surveillance camera revealed that he was driving at an excessive speed and ran a red light before crashing into the building.
