Prestone recalling 4.1 million products with faulty trigger spray

Illinois-based Prestone Products Corporation is recalling an estimated 4.1 million products in the U.S. due to faulty trigger sprays that can result in poisoning risks to children.

The recall affects the “Windshield De-Icer” and “Ice & Frost Shield” products with atomizers that can easily be removed by children. The products, which contains chemicals like ethylene glycol and methanol, can cause poisoning to children if they accidentally remove the atomizer assembly. The recalling company and federal authorities have not received reports of any injuries or incidents involving the recalled products. Consumers who have the recalled products are advised to keep the products away from children and to call Prestone to get a new child-proof trigger spray.

Many families have to deal with expensive hospitalization costs when their children suffer injuries from accidents. However, if this happens to you, compensations may possibly be entitled to you if defective products are involved. Find out how lawyer N.
