3 hurt at Livingston Parish fair

A child and two adults in Livingston Parish recently suffered personal injuries after they got involved in an accident at a fair, an article from wafb.com reported on October 7.

State authorities went to Livingston Parish Fair to investigate after an accident involving a kiddie ride on October 6 caused injury to three people. Fire Marshal Butch Browning stated that a girl of about 10 years old was fastened into a kiddie ride and fell after she apparently stood up on the ride. Though two other persons were also injured at the fair, only the girl, who suffered non-life threatening injuries, was transported to the hospital. Inspectors will reevaluate the kiddie ride after initial findings revealed that the ride did not have any mechanical problems.
