Louisiana State Troopers arrived at the scene of a March 25th, 20017 accident around 2:00 p.m. The two-truck accident occurred on LA Hwy 107 south of LA Hwy 3128 in Rapides Parish when the Northbound 2011 Ford pickup driven by Jonathan T. Darnall (19-year-old) of Pineville, LA., in an attempt to avoid Hooper steered his 1997 GMC pickup to the left and resulted in a head-on collision on the Northbound shoulder.
Unrestrained Hooper received minor injuries. Unrestrained Darnall received moderate injuries, however, Tayler C. Basco (18 years old) one of the two passengers Darnall was traveling with received serious injuries and was pronounced dead.
Our legal team would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family of Tayler C. Basco for their loss. There is nothing that could adequately prepare a family for the sudden loss of a loved one so young. Tragically, the negligent and careless actions of individuals all too frequently result in the sudden and wrongful death of those in harm’s way. Our legal team understands that while legal action may do little to console the loss of your loved one, litigation could serve as a means to prevent incidents similar to this one from happening again.
If you or a loved one have suffered a loss due to the negligent actions of another, N. Craig Richardson and his team of Personal Injury attorneys that specialize in wrongful death may be able to help you.
